Lots of blue has been used throughout this gorgeous Utah home to create continuity in flow. With a massive bank of windows there is ample light whatever the weather may hold. Whatever the size of one’s home, it’s the personal touches and attention to detail that make it special. The windows and exterior doors are all painted blue and the interior has many french country design elements.” It’s in a neighborhood called Country French Estates and all the homes have some element of that French country style. feet (which is not uncommon in Utah) and is a French Country style home. “The home is built out of stone imported from Texas and the entire exterior is stone. Our third son is a junior in college and in ROTC with the Air Force and wants to be a pilot as well. Our second son is a US Marine and a pilot. Our oldest son is married and we just became grandparents. After my husband finished dental school and his time in the Army we bought a dental practice and built our first home in Ravensdale. “A little about me: My husband Craig and I have been married 27 years and we have four grown children. We didn’t move in until September of 2017.” We allowed the previous owners (Rach and Drew Parcell) to live in the house for a year after we bought it from them and rent it back from us while they built their new home. We were flying here often to take care of him and when we found out this house was for sale we decided to buy it. “ We purchased the Highland, Utah house in 2016 to be closer to our kids who were all attending college in Utah and to be closer to my husband’s father who has dementia. This home had previously belonged to Drew Parcell and his wife Rachel, and was known on Instagram as ” The Rachel Parcell house” ( Rachel Parcell ). I recall seeing this stunner many years ago on Instagram and thought that it looked familiar when I came upon Holly. This French country style estate that inspires so many of us and it’s lovely to know how sweet, talented and humble the homeowner is. Holly lives full time in suburban Seattle, where her husband runs a Dental practice.
